Riesling Zöbinger Heiligenstein Reserve 2002
Simon Woods, "Wine international September 2004":

"So the Wachau is Austria's finest white wine region? They beg to differ at the Jurtschitsch winery in Sonnhof, where the same family has been in charge since the mid 19th century and parts of the cellar are more than 700 years old. Today, three generations of Jurtschitsches make a superb range of wines, with this fine Riesling being one of the jewels. It comes from arguably the top vineyard in the region and is made with ultra-ripe grapes piced in November after a near-perfect growing season. Intense, lime-laden, spicy and minerally, this has great power and presence, but also poise an elegance, and a fabulously long finish. It will be a joy to watch it develop."
