A vegetation period of 10 months and 2000 hours of sunshine...
The multifacetted landscape of the southern Kamp Valley not only houses manifold geological formations, but also a large variety of microclimates reminiscent of the Mediterranean region
at least during the day.
The Kamp River is a natural connection between The Danube and the Waldviertel region which is up to 600 meters higher in altitude.

The town of Langenlois is located in a South-facing shell-shaped bend of the Kamp Valley. Directly opposite from Langenlois, on the other side of the river, the famous Zöbinger Heiligenstein Vineyard, with its terraced slope, dominates the valley entrance. The South-facing Heiligenstein benefits from concentrated sunlight due to its natural basin-like shape. This results in high temperatures during daytime. In the evening however, cool air flows down from the Waldviertel in the North.
The interaction of warm days and cool nights is essential for the development of refined fruit aromas.
