Riesling Platin Kamptal DAC 2010
Description of the Wine
Our classical Riesling presents itself with elegant stylistics, extremely mineralistic with clear-cut fine stone-fruit notes, reminiscent of peach and apricot; a noble vine in a youthful characteristic.
alcohol by vol: 12,0%, acidity: 7,8‰, residual sugar: 3,6g/l
Territory: weathered Langenlois primary rocks with crystalline slate.
The development of the Wine
Only physiologically fully matured and healthy grapes were selected by hand and harvested in the middle of October and then carefully pressed under slight pressure as a whole grape. Pumping action was waived to let the clarified juice flow gravitationally from the wine press house down to the natural cellar and slowly ferment in cooled stainless steel tanks at 18° C to encourage the development of the delicate fragrance- and aroma substances. The fruity wine then matures on its fine yeast until the beginning of March.
Maturity potential: 2016
food accompany: The Wine is an ideal accompaniment for the modern, light type of cuisine, in conjunction with 'lean' premiers, fish or discreetly spiced white meats and crustacean dishes.
New: bottles are now fitted with the practical screw top seal.
