A large family
"A special aspect of a family-run business is, that you dont think in yearly revenues, but rather in generations. This applies all the more to viticulture, because the quality of the wines of our children and grand-children will depend on how close to nature (meaning close to a natural ecosystem/environment) we deal with our vineyards today. The creed of the Jurtschitsch family is: We owe our library full of fascinating mature wines to our ancestors".

The fact that family members from three generations are actively at work in the estate clearly shows the co-operation within the family and their future-oriented philosophy in wine-making.
